Our Acting Classes
Next Level Acting Studios was first established in Hollywood by Deke Anderson, a professional Actor and Director, who spent almost three decades pursuing his career there. Next Level now offers fun, dynamic acting classes and private lessons in Houston and The Woodlands for adults, youths, and teens of all experience levels. Deke’s lengthy Hollywood experience is essentially unparalleled among acting teachers in the Southeast region, and the quality and value of his acting classes is extraordinary.
Adult Training
Our adult acting class formats vary each week and teach our students to effectively execute the curve balls thrown in a casting director’s office or on set. We believe in having fun, while building an actor’s confidence, professionalism, and ability to make creative on-the-spot adjustments. We utilize intensive camera study, and our students are trained in casting director pre-reads, office on camera auditions, producer callbacks, close ups, tracking, hitting marks, and much more. Our professional actors learn the “Art of Booking the Role,” while our business professionals use these techniques to sharpen their presentation and leadership skills.
Youth/Teen Training
Our youth and teen acting classes utilize select portions of Deke’s proven methodology, and emphasize and teach core acting principles and improvisation techniques/ exercises. Acting class formats include camera work, mock auditions, improv and more. Our youth and teen programs have been home not only to working and aspiring young professional actors, but also young people whose parents seek to sharpen their confidence, communication, concentration, creativity, quick thinking, and other essential life skills.
